Blowfish, Apartments, New cars...

I've been so busy with work that I've had no time to do any updates. But busy is a good thing. Now that it looks like things are going to slow down a bit, it's time to hit the pavement and go hunting for new business/new clients. We've been very lucky in the past 6 months, that all our work has come from referrals and word-of-mouth.

The apartment is coming along nicely. We had to get rid of an extra chair in the living room to free up some floor space. It's a lot better now, and really, you can only fit 4 people comfortably, without having them sit on each other. Nette and I also have the Penny Dog (Jeannette's parents are on there way back from Florida, so we are dog-sitting), and the Apt. is definatley too small for a retreiver. Weiner dog, maybe, but Penny is just about the biggest mutt (and a suck to boot) you can fit in there.

Jeannette got back from being France at the beginning of April. Some TV trade-show. They were off selling the Monster Warriors show the company she works for has been making. It's very cool, kind of Power Rangers meets 1950's monster movies. If you have the time (and cable) check them out on YTV Canada at 10:30 am on Saturday and 7:30pm on Wednesday. her name is even in the credits!! I didn't get to go, but she brought me back a kick-ass gift! Check it out. A sweet Porsche 356B Coupe.

Almost too many for the single display case now.

Pondering (as ususally happens every few weeks... nah. who'm I kidding, DAYS...) about a new car. I'm really liking the new 2006+ VW GTI Mk5. $32,000+ fully loaded. 6spd. 200hp, and you can even get it in a 4-door now. I like the fact they have brought the Rabbit nameplate back too. It's kinda cool, even if I've never actually driven one yet. Such is life. My Jetta is 10 years old now, and it's showing its age cosmetically. The trick is to decide to dump money into the old car, keeping it alive and well, and looking pretty, OR to drop the $$$ on the new GTI and be done with it. A warranty sounds really nice right now.

that's it for now. Until next time... Keep your stick on the Ice.

  • Getting a perfect car among millions of brands is bit difficult , since in the market wide range of cars are available. You need to consult an expert who can compare different branded cars. I prefer EU Neuwagen Reimport Because Its the pretty
